Hello World!

I am Henri Hakunti, an entrepreneur, engineer, salesperson, and business builder with nearly two decades of experience across technology, international business, and turning ideas into real businesses.

Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, I spent over a decade at Konecranes working in project management, pricing, costing, supply chain, and international industrial business. It gave me first-hand experience of how a large global corporation operates, from manufacturing and supply chains to products, commercial decisions, and international operations.

I founded my first company in 2010 and later co-founded Ruuvi in 2016. What started with a small group of passionate people, a Kickstarter campaign, and quite literally a garage grew into an international technology company.

During that journey, Ruuvi generated more than €13 million in sales and delivered more than 500,000 products. We built a reseller network covering more than 40 countries, while our products reached customers in more than 150 countries, from individual consumers to companies operating across a wide range of industries.

We built the company by bootstrapping it without external venture capital. That meant building around real customers and real sales from the beginning, while constantly thinking about profitability, scalable operations, and long-term sustainability.

In 2026, I sold my ownership in Ruuvi and exited the company after more than ten years of building it. It closed an important chapter of my entrepreneurial journey and gave me the opportunity to focus on new businesses, projects, and opportunities.

My strengths lie in identifying new business and product opportunities, understanding customer needs, commercial validation, sales, global sourcing, and turning ideas into real products and businesses. I combine an engineer’s problem-solving mindset with an entrepreneur’s commercial instinct and a salesperson’s ability to connect with people.

I know both sides of the business world: how large international corporations operate and what it takes to build something from scratch. My experience ranges from project management, manufacturing and global supply chains to sales, products, operations, and international growth.

I’m at my best when there’s an idea, an opportunity, or a difficult problem, and the challenge is to figure it out and turn it into real business.

“We are never in lack of money. We lack people with dreams, who can die for those dreams.”
